In today’s urban environment, cyclists face significant challenges: a lack of proper parking spaces, bikes being left in unsuitable locations, and many people opting out of bike ownership due to the absence of secure storage options. The Cignopark bike parking facility addresses these issues by offering an innovative, secure, and weather-resistant solution.
The Cignopark bike parking facility is designed with Nordic weather conditions in mind. It provides protection against theft and vandalism while ensuring a safe and convenient storage solution. In addition to the two-level parking system, bikes can also be locked to the side grates using personal locks.
Thanks to its modular design, the solution can be adapted to meet client needs and integrated into various environments.
When designing the parking facility, we started with interviews—both with developers who might implement our solution in new developments and with cyclists themselves. These studies provided valuable insights that helped shape our final design.
