educational consumer game to help prepare for a crisis situation

Ole Valmis! Women's voluntary defence organization 2024

The core idea of the project was to make crisis preparedness as convenient and mentally unburdening as possible for people. As a result of the research conducted, a consumer game was created, which users can play effortlessly and at the same time win prizes that help them prepare for a crisis situation.

In addition to the traditional scratch-and-win lottery-style game, I also added an educational mini-game that encourages users to think about preparedness without causing unnecessary stress. The entire consumer game prepares and educates its users for potential crisis situations.

The project began as a team effort, where we conducted user research and interviews to better understand the target audience’s current level of preparedness.

At the end of the research phase, we presented our findings and insights to the client and then continued working individually on our solutions.
